Kale

Uniform selection. Standard variety. Slow bolting Scotch type. Low growing, 12‐16 inches tall x 24 inches in diameter, short stem, hardy, especially tender after light frost, does not yellow from frost or heat, hardy, sow early spring or July, non‐heading.

Rare strain with purple veination, red frilly leaves and deep margins. Attractive, very tender, excellent flavor. Cool weather, heirloom variety. 25 days for Baby. 50 days for Standard. 

Multi‐use. It has deep green smooth rippled leaves with an upright plant habit. Thick petioles allow for easy bunching with less plant damage. For baby leaf (35 days) it has smooth thick medium green round‐oval leaves with an upright plant habit.

A TripleSweet® variety noted for producing large, refined ears with medium-green husks and good flags.

Late yellow with dark green husks, blocky ears with excellent taste. Excellent shipper.

Excellent eating quality and strong compact plant combined with control of select above and below ground insect pests and tolerance to Roundup agricultural herbicides.
