Kale

Tall 24‐26" plant that turns from green with pink veins to a striking maroon color as it matures. Color enhanced when season turns cooler. 

Used by growers who chop or bag their kale because ribs are less prominent. Resists yellows and bolting.

Uniform selection. Standard variety. Slow bolting Scotch type. Low growing, 12‐16 inches tall x 24 inches in diameter, short stem, hardy, especially tender after light frost, does not yellow from frost or heat, hardy, sow early spring or July, non‐heading.
